Nice job Mike! And nice work on the P/T discussion, I think this pass will ultimately end up providing some much needed information about rarity vs value.
I would think a #77 for a BTL would be a fair trade.
So, are you saying that the Anejo Shark has a perceived value of $13 ($4 higher than MSRP)? Or that they're both valued at an equally higher price? If it's the former, there are some that would argue that valuing Hemi Maduros, especially the BTL, at MSRP is incorrect, that some "premium" needs to be added to their prices due to scarcity. If it's the later, then how high? Adding a similar $4 premium to the BTL, you start to approach double MSRP for the Shark. Is that what these are worth? I personally would never pay $17 - $20 for a cigar I could get for $9.50 if I was patient enough.
I'll wait until Monday Loyd. Here are my proposed P/T's .Let me know what you think. Will be leaving Sunday for a fishing trip, I will only be gone a few days, should return Tuesday afternoon. So Jonesy when ya get it just wait till at least Monday to ship it out, My wife will be home so it's not a big deal, just letting everyone know where I will be if I don't make any posts from Sunday till Tuesday afternoon.
Can't wait!

Looks like a good set of puts/takes to me...
(I'd smoke that '26 #2 anytime over a BTL!)
I struggle with the rarity factor all the time. I just really like to be overly cautious when I get into that. Some may agree with me about the BTL/'26 trade - undoubtedly others will disagree...
I guess the best way to look at it - if those were my cigars, and someone were trading for them - would I be happy I received a '26 #2 maddie for my BTL? Personally - yep - I really love those '26 #2's...
But think about it an absolute extremes - because publically in most passes I doubt you're going to see much hand wringing over puts/takes unless it's WAY lopsided...
This has been a great pass from a learning perspective. I just hope it's not becoming too over-complicated through the process, though...
Carry on!!!
LOYD, the pass didn't get here today so it looks like a Monday arrival. Since it's coming then, I won't be able to get it out until Wednseday am so hopefully that fits your schedule better also.Sounds good Jonesy!
Will try and get my P's & T's figured out and when the package arrives I should be able to turn it quickly to help in Jay getting that box back!
Looking foward to it.
OK, Jay...here's some spring photos for you:
St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University. My wife and I were married here last year, and I work for VU. We were lucky enough to have a few days of absolutely cloudless weather coincide with the height of the cherry tree blooms. I took about 100 different shots, and this was my favorite.
At the same time I wandered around campus and found "the grotto" in bloom as well, so I captured this shot of Our Mother of Good Counsel, and worked a little Photoshop on it to get a nice sepia tone (and bring out the texture in the concrete/stone)
"Pink sky at night is a sailor's delight." On days with high clouds I always try to grab my camera near sunset. This day I got lucky and managed to grab several shots looking over Bryn Mawr as the sky changed from pink to orange to purple.
And since Jay mentioned sunsets, I thought I'd throw this one in. Technically not taken recently, it was shot last spring on our Honeymoon in Hawaii (Kaua'i), but since we just celebrated our 1st anniversary, I decided to include it.
Okay, I finally got my pictures. These were taken in the Allegheny national Forest on May 4th & 5th.
Sunlight rarely hits these mountain streams due to the dense evergreen forest so the water is frigid and on a warm spring day they create fog in the morning.
I took this while hanging up-side-down over the river from a rock bigger than my house.
This what it looked like right-side-up
The name of this beautiful trout fishing stream is "Spring Creek".
Alright Brothers here are some of my Pictures!
This is a Japense garden by my house!
I love the beauty of waterfowl,
These are some tropical flowers,
Enjoy!! :sign:
Here's a few pictures from Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio. This week is the Memorial Tournament, and the crew is hard at work getting this place in shape. Enjoy!
So are you judging alone or are we supposed to vote, too?I have moved all pics to this page for easy judging. When the result are in I will announce the winners. Each person can only win one time.
Thanks for playing.
