Yes I am a compter guy but if broadband isn't available where I live it is kinda hard to get it. I would gladly pay the few extra dollars and buy one less cigar a month if that's all it took.

I think the difference can be attributed to dial-up vs. broadband :whistling:

Ahh, gotcha. Direct TV has satellite broadband available if you are interested. I think it is called Direct-Way or something similar. It is faster than basic DSL but slower than cable from what I understand. I think it runs $50 a month.

The Direct Way speeds are faster then dial-up but slower then DSL in reality, especially in uploads. When I checked last month it was $500 for the equipment and $69 a month. That is not worth it to us.

Keep an eye on ebay for the equipment. Uploads are fairly slow, but down loads are fast. How much uploading are you going to do? Most people download porn, not upload it. LOL

Cheeze, thanks for inviting me up there. I had a great time Saturday, even though the chili was a little hot for me. I ended up staying about halfway through the fourth quarter, and of course, picked up a few more cigars before I left.

AVB, I noticed you're a big fan of Gurkhas, as am I. My order of favorites is:
Centurian XX, Legend, Expedition, Master Select, Grand Master Dos Capos, Symphony, and Regent. I have the Brazilian Gran Envoy, Ancient Warrior, and Doble Maduro resting in the humi and am looking forward to trying them. Have you had the Boer or Genghis Khan (that one looks good)? I take it you haven't had the Beast or Titan judging by your signature (hmmm, perhaps a box split someday?).

I've had them all except for the Titan/Beast. The Gran Envoy is not as good as the previous version. The Brazilian Gran Envoy is so much better and that's the one to try and find. The Genghis Khan is pretty good being a little spicier then most Gurkhas. I only had one that was sent to me so I'd be open to getting more. You need to try the Signature 101, my favorite of the newer K. Hansotia blends.

I've heard a few good reviews of the Signature 101, I'll have to pick up some up soon. I have a chest of the Brazilian Gran Envoy's (well, a whole chest minus one I gave away in a contest ) resting in the humi.
