One of my friends always gives me crap about smoking cigars. I could care less, but it amuses him. He is always asking if I'm going to bring a few sticks over, etc.

Last time I was over I had a 5 Vegas Churchill and he almost wet himself he thought this stoogie was so big (Pretty standard though)!! For shits and giggles, I wanted to order in a couple of monster sticks to take over next time we cookout or play cards.

What is the largest stick (ring gauge and length) you guys know of? I've seen the Immenso at 70 ring gauge and the Flor de Oliva with a 66 x 9" size. I heard Puros Indios has a ridiculus stick also.

What's the biggest and baddest you got?

I found this on smokemag.com:

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CIGAR COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE?
Depends on whether you’re talking length or girth (ring gauge). According to Perelman’s Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars (an invaluable source of information for retailers and cigar mag editors alike), the U.S.-sold cigar measuring the longest from head to foot is Puros Indios’s famous Chief. It’s 18 inches long, and at a ring gauge of 66, fairly respectable in the thickness department too.
There is a longer one out there, however, but only available to U.S. smokers if they’re vacationing south of the border. Santa Clara cigars in Mexico still makes the Magnum, a monster at 19 inches by 52 ring gauge. Only its lack of a distributor in the States keeps it from our top spot.

If you’re looking for the fattest, you’ve got to look toward Nicaragua, and the ambitious, talented, and somewhat sadistic cigar makers of Tabacalera Perdomo. Their Cuban Parejo Galaxia actually weighs in at a Brandoesque 100 ring gauge, as well as a 10-inch length. The Galaxia even manages to make Perdomo’s other infamous big boy, the aptly named Inmenso (6 x 70) look like a dwarf.

Sounds like the Galaxia or Immenso may be in order for the next card night. If it is Perdomo, should be a decent stick also.

OpusXKC, how was the Chief? Is it smokable? Or just a nasty 18" of tobacco.

The Chief wasn't horrible, but wasn't a great cigar either. Would I do it again, maybe if I had a lot of time and a point to make ;)

If you want to try the immenso you could probably get a good deal on cbid. I have no idea what MSRP is on them but I saw a fiver on there the other day for pretty cheap

Yea I had the Connecticut shade wrapper, it wasn’t anything special but I just looked and they have a double maduro indios cheaf. Its got me intrigued now.

Had a PI Chief on a camping trip once. It was pretty much plugged on one side, and smoked ok on the other. Ended up pitching it in the fireless than a 1/4 of the way through and smoking something that burned better.

Just looked at those pictures and I can't stop laughing. That's the funniest shit I have seen in a long time. Thanks for cheering me up after a rough day at work
