Sometimes they just taste like poo...

I've seen those pots and always wondered if they actually worked. Somehoe I think I'd feel like I was drowning if I poured warm water into one nostril and let it flow to the other. Is that a weird thing to get used to?

---> No, you won't feel like you are drowning. You maintain breathing through your mouth. Its not that bad actually. At first it will really freak you out that water is going from one nasal passage to the other, but its a trip and you will feel better too, aside from enjoying your cigar more. Its also the best thing to do when you are getting a cold or sinus infection. Usually to maintain clear passages. Just remember, if you do this, there will be some residual salt water in your sinus passages to give your self at least 20 - 25 minutes before lighting up your smoke. You might notice some drippage occurring

I have chronic sinus problems (face smashed as teenager) and I've been looking for something that might give me some relief (at least temporarily) for enhancement of my cigar smoking.

Got a source for one of those Neti pots?

---> I picked mine up from the local yoga studio (Himalayan institute of WNY), however if you do a google search you will find one. This place looks good:

(FYI, I have the porcelaine pot and it works like a charm).

Hope this helps,
Darren

Well, I'll be happy to report that last night I didn't smoke any poo :D

Doesn't hurt that I was enjoying a hemingway ;)

Now, what shall I have this evening...

Thanks a lot man!

I have one of those pots... over here they are called "Nose Showers" lol

Thanks for reminding me, I need to break it out again. I only use it during the late fall (I always end up with sinus problems this time of year) but it does work and work well.

It does take some getting use to but once you've done it a few times and experiance the benefits you will be impressed.

I wouldn't say it was that bad, but I had a PAN 1964 last weekend that was very dissapointing. Just bland and flavorless. It might have been me though, I think I was getting a bit of a cold. Still a disappointement for the only Padron Aniversary in my humi.
