:D If you're a cigar smoker in Utah, it's a cold cruel world when you step out your front door. Thank God for the 'net! I mean, I'm all for supporting local businesses, but not at a 30-40% markup (and more) over 'net prices. :angry:

I was at a cigar shop in Woodland, TX last year (not a low-income neighborhood AFAICT), and was amazed at how much lower their prices were than at the 2 stores here. :sign:

Ditto that. I too live and smoke in the great state of Utah and it's no picnic. The prices are very high here and the selection is abysmal. I go to Vegas often and buy most of my singles there. There is good news though Bob. Havana Bros. is doubling the size of their walk-in and plan on greatly expanding their selection. I'm looking forward to that.
 
:) Yeah, I forgot to mention them. I think their display of incense burners and dope pipes throws me off. I was in there the other night (Jeanie's had closed) and was talking to the guy.
Asked him about the Sunday herf, he told me they're thinking of redoing the basement and having an actual smoking room down there! He said the Sunday herf is pretty informal right now, just folks sitting outside and smoking. Of course I work every Sunday so this is moot for me, but it is encouraging, at least until heavenly father's minions get their nerve up and try an outright smoking ban! :angry:

I really had to come back and add this. What a fathead! This isn't MY pass, it's everyone's pass; it stopped being mine as soon as it went across the counter at the PO.
It just dawned on me how lucky I am, that so many fine people trusted a newbie to launch his first pass! I mean, not even 100 posts yet!
When folks talk about what a friendly place this is, you don't really get it until something like this happens. Again, a great big THANK YOU to you all!
 
I know. It's too bad they have to try and double as a hippy shop ??? I am looking forward to the renovation and the Sunday Herf as my only day off is Sunday. I'll have to let you know how it is once it gets started and hopefully you can get a Sunday off sometime and join us. Oh and how 'bout this pass?! Can't wait for the first Put/Take report.

Got the box. It's in great shape. I'll go through it tomorrow and get it out by Friday morning. I hope that sounds OK with everyone! Looking forward to gettin into this thing.

OK, decided to go on and just get it done tonight. I made up a roster, Bob. Did the best I could with the lineup. The box is in great shape, the hydro is nice and moist and this baby will be out tomorrow.
