Congrats and welcome to Texas. San Marcos is nice and with SA to the south and Austin to the north you can't go wrong.

There's a cigar shop in San Marcos that is owned and run by the wife of a guy that posts on CF. His name is Dan and his handle on CF is haveacigarboy. At least last time I talked with him they were still running the place. Haven't visited it so I don't know much about it...sorry. Dans a good guy.

Marc, I hope you like San Marcos as much as I did. My nephew graduated from TSU recently. I had opportunity to visit and found it to be a friendly college town. I quite enjoyed cruising tubing on the river!
