Bought a Honda Shadow 750 ACE to tool around town on. Hate it and it just sits and collects dust right now. Should sell it, but haven't done so yet.

why do you hate the Honda Shadow 750 ACE ?

It's slow and awkward to ride. I thought I was too grown up for a sport bike, but realized I wasn't grown up at all. I like speed....... :thumbs:

yeah, comparing the ACE to a sportbike is like comparing a K Car to a Supra.

Nope... sport bikes and trials dirt bikes.... I thought since I lost most my hair and had two kids, that I didn't need to go fast anymore. I was wrong. I'm just glad I didn't go full tilt and buy a Harley, which is what I was originally going to do. So, sport bike shopping this spring...

well, I'M too old & fat to ride a sportbike.

under 100MPH is fast enough for me...

I guess no one appreciates the pic of the Nera.... (380 lbs/145 horses) total carbon fiber including the tank, magnesium frame and wheels.. I would have one any day over a duck, but hey to each his own...

Actually I"m really not a big Ducati fan, i just think the new supermotard is sexy!

I like the new Sport Classic, but have been looking at 749's too. I'm trying to like the naked bikes, but still lean towards the race look.

I like Aprilas, but the closest dealer is 300 miles away and I don't really know them. Rode an Augusta the other day though. Nice bike, but the $20,000 price tag scared me off. LOL!

Phew i was gonna say.... It is my understanding that they only made 200 Nera's and 20 of them are in the US, I may be wrong on that.. But that is a picture of the 3rd delivered to the US. I still like my ACE, I ride to relax not for the rush..

Well, if anyone else wants to "ride to relax", I've got a 2003, Black ACE750, cherry with extras, for $3700.
