Damn, how'd I miss posting to this thread? ???

I have numerous cigars and boxes donated by various folks that bought from Solo. All counterfeit. Every one.

Sadly that also means that SoloCigars rang up numerous sales and scammed numerous folks.

I wonder who those suckers were. :whistling:

I was almost one that got scammed until I started doing some research on them. In fact that's how I found CP. Google led me to this posting. I immediately canceled my order. Thanks!

Yes. And based on the cigars I've examined and smoked, if those folks were not already familiar with Habanos, they'd probably never know. The packaging is good. The cigars are generally well constructed and they don't smoke like crap. Unfortunately, they are not quite good enough even at that price to be substitutes for cheap bundlers but most of their customers are quite happy with them.

I even communicated with their "CEO", and he was adamant that all of their cigars are 100% authentic. Don't let this company blow smoke up your ass (pun intended :D).

I mentioned earlier I cancelled my order one day after placing. Just found out they have not credited my account. I am having a hard time getting my money back! Not only do they sell fakes but they are also very difficult to work with.

Dispute the charges with your credit card company.

Thanks Rod......Just a point of info.........After reviewing the mentioned cigar site....I noticed that every cigar box that you can find on the site on the top lid has a halogram.......An international Habanos dealer would not have Halograms at all........These boxes can only be found in Cuba.........I have seen these fake boxes many times.......A Dealer friend of mine in the cigar business took a chance and bought some of these exact boxes from Costa Rica.........All fake.........All with halograms....Too bad the warrenty labels are not clear enough to see..........Ive seen them on my friends boxes and they are clear counterfits.....As soon as you see halograms run.........Many people think that this authenticates Habanos........It is true only in cuba........The only other way to see a haligram on a authentic box is if someone bought it in Cuba and returned home with it........

How can you know their fake if they buy the cigars on the inside of Cuba? they suppose to have the holograms because they get them there... no? I don't know I still buy from them and I'm satisfied until some expert said to my face that they're fake

Read this thread jakeee. Experts have told you to your "face" that they are fake. Buy at your own peril.

Interesting that you just joined, give an incomplete vague intro post, and then find this one to comment about? Especially since it hasn't been on the radar for two months..

hmmmmmmm

I don't know I think Jakee is pretty damn smart if you ask me. Maybe he'll trade some of those cigars he buys from him to all of us at Cigar Pass. ;)

Thanks for warning the members of CP. This'll come in handy in case you decide to trade, sell, or join a pass here.

I wouldn't trade cigars with any of you knowing that you don't like... it's just my opinion, i'm still not convince. sorry!

Rod - thanks for the heads up.

For the non-believers who some times just don't want to believe the majority...this is at your own risk. Ultimately, it is your money.

LMAO... All the experts you will ever need are in this thread. You wanna smoke fakes? GO FOR IT, we won't stop you if you don't want to listen to our advice!

But instead trust the brothers here at CP. And find out what real Cubans taste like. I guarantee the difference will open your eyes wide.

jakee - Not telling you not to buy from solo, as long as "you're" happy with their cigars, by all means, purchase all you can afford! I just won't trade with you. Last time I checked they had Sig VI's going for $200/box. They do offer great deals. ;)

On a side note - I have received many spam emails from solocigars.com. Oddly enough, people I know who don't even smoke received the same spam from them. They pay the same spammers who promote viagra to spam for them.
