SoCal HERF

Depending on whether or not the wife wants to make it out. I have a strong feeling I will need her for the car pool lane ;)

Well never mind folks. Just found out I will be working nights that day so  ...Until next time smoke a good one for me!

Ron,

You're more than welcome to join if you can. Our herfs are always open to everyone.

The Wifey and I are headed down to LA LA Land tomorrow afternoon but I don't think I'll be able to make it on time. We're going to be staying near the CBS Studio as we're going to be in a studio audience on Thursday. Any ideas on how far this is from Glendale?

CBS Studios (in Studio City) is only a short trip down the 134 freeway to downtown Glendale. If traffic is okay (first time for everything) should be nothing more than a 20-25 minute drive.

Edit: In actual miles, it's probably 10-15 miles away, however we're talking about LA, and a 5 mile trip can last hours.

Well dont count me out yet. Looks like the night job might push a day so we will see what happens. :)

WOW!

What a great time!

It was great to meet Saka, Phil, Patricia and MR. PEAT !!! And always good to see Rod, Cigarlady and Chewbacco!

Yous guys that didn't attend missed another great one! :whistling: :D ;)

edited to add pictures:

Mr. Peat made the incredible trek from Vegas to LA to HERF with the SoCal crew! He got to my place and took the best seat on the deck... in the shade and a Monte Millennium Robusto managed to find it's way into his hands!

For a time like this, Peat's visit, nothing but the best will do!

Peat agreed and all was good! We only had two sticks for a warmup, but it was time to get over to Glendale to HERF!

Peat gifted me an incredible Forbidden X Lancero! Too kind!

Peat couldn't decide what to smoke himself... so he went with an Anejo 48 and a Forbidden X Chili Pepper!!!!

What a motley looking crew :D

Had a great time as always. It was a pleasure to finally meet Mr. Peat!

Looks like fun was had by all :) Some fine smokes were brought out :) I'll be at the next one for sure, I just needed to bounce back from the wedding/mortgage/honeymoon that happened this past month.

Sitting at OpusXKC place as there is an event at Outlaw today and I didnt want to make the drive back down for it so crashing here. I have a few gifts to hand out to move my bombing campaign along.

Again thanks to Seadub for being such a generous host. I had a great time meeting everyone at the Glendale Hilton. I just wished I had more time to stay out there but alas, the chips didnt fall that way. Glad to see some of the crazy pictures made it into the thread.

Again, the SoCal crew that showed up was generous as well. The drive from Vegas to LA was well worth it.

Just finishing a Casa Fuente Churchill and decided to make a post before I have to crash. Again, thank you all for being so kind to poor ole me. :D

Well...I'm sitting at home finally and its really nice to be in familiar surroundings once again. The party followed me from Las Vegas to SoCal and then back to Vegas where the train stopped off at Outlaw.

Sounds, and looks, like a great time was had by all, I missed you guys by a few hours. We left SJ around 7:30 Wednesday and pulled into our Studio City Hotel at 1:00 a.m.. At least we missed all the traffic ....

Loren and crew, you look like you had a Damn great time. What's up with the double cigars Loren, lol, you beast!! If I wasn't here in the East Coast I would have been there!

I had said before I left I would smoke 2 different cigars at the same time. And I am a man of my words and thus I did it. :D It was definitely a blast and worth the drive from Vegas to SoCal.
