I will update this page and also this page when/if I find out, though.

Note the band. Very strange.

Maybe the CF 10th anniversary cigar :whistling: ??? :D .

I sure hope so....

They were made in the Fuente Opus-X Factory. They are most assuredly some oddity produced by Fuente Opus-X! Here is a link to Vitolas, which is a site that specializes in rare Fuente Cigars. There are many, many photos there, including several of the cigars posted above! Enjoy the site, it has many amazing pictures!

I wonder if Moki has heard of this so-called "Vitolas" site? :whistling:

Johnny, that is Moki's own site you are linking too. He's the one who started this thread

Someone should really tell Moki about that site.

And this really great game called Escape Velocity, the only reason to keep a non MacOSX computer alive.

That's a slice!

Well all the photos are there and described as having been taken on tours of the opus-X Factories. Maybe the photos of the two cigars he posted, were from other sources and show on the site but are not actually Fuente Cigars. If that's the case, I may have not read that section clearly. I'll have to check it out!

Johnny

Add-on, I just checked the site and pictures of the cigars he posted are in the top, right side link about rare cigars, on the 2nd page. They appear to be Opus-X Cigars to me!!!

Those smokes seem to have a musical instrument design to them, knowing how the Fuente's often have a themed cigar line it would not suprise me if that happend IMHO. ??? Very interesting wrapper combination will probably cost an arm and a leg and be in limited supply and high demand. Thanks moki, I always look forward to all of those great pic's and information.

How can one justofy smoki sonting ly dat?

Thanks Moki. Smokers draw two!!!!!

Is it my imagination or do the different colors look painted on instead of being different tabacco leafs?

I don't think so... I think the "X" band is a big clue actually... I think I have a pretty good idea what's going on here. I will advise once I've investigated more.

As for the cigars themselves, no, nothing is painted on, all of the spots/stripes are from different tobacco leafs.

Is it just me, or do they look a little box-pressed?

edit: the bands look almost "celebratory"

Maybe the birth of a child, or a wedding perhaps?
