So I hit a local "Pot of Gold"

Good to see another turn from the light side (macro brews) to the dark side (micro brew).

Honestly I have really only drank micro brew stuff, growing up in wisconsin kinda helps. When I tried miller and bud stuff I was already to deep into the beers with taste

Rasputin is lacking something. Try Great Divide Yeti, Souther Tier: Oats, Mocha or anything Southern Tier makes. All of those are running in the 10-11% and way smoother. You might say they go down just like Coors light. John

Thanks John I will look for some of these next time I'm in the shop.

Ask the management about bulk discounts if they are selling at bar prices. We have a similar place here that charges accordingly for the single beers as you drink in house. If you ask for the six, case, or mix and match, etc. They take 20% off of the normal bar prices to compete with the beer and wine stores.

Outstanding tip thanks John!

Nice find Paul! I'd get the list of what they carry and start your trip around the world.

So today I hit up the 87,000 sq ft Tispy's Liquor World, after over an hour I had some goodies. But after being in the several thousand square foot walk in craft and specialty beer fridge, I thought of this thread and wanted to share these.

87,000 sq ft, do you know how big that is? Let's just say the average home is 2000 sq ft, wich would make this place the size of 4 city blocks- that's big.

They claim to have over 6,000 different makers and varieties of wine, almost half the store is dedicated to the wine.

They had another couple thousand sq ft fridge for specialty and high end wine.

This place was AMAZING... I don't even drink, and I spent over a hour in the place astonished.

Oh, and the website says, it's 87,000 sq ft of showroom. Not the whole building, just the showroom!
