Smoked some Pepin Stuff and Torano... Hmm

Part of it is just personal preference. Also, don't decide based on one sampling. You may have had one that was over-humidified. This dulls the lighter flavors. Store them at 65% for a couple weeks and them re-visit.

You liked the Black Label which I think is Pepin's best blend. So on that our tastes happen to align, But there is no law saying you have to like every cigar that is popular, either. I also don't prefer many Tats. But I was very impressed with the 2009 Cojonu, T110, and Pork Chop. Too bad the last two were limited release. The 2003 Cojonu is tasty, too, IMO.

Another fav of mine is the CI Legend Pepin. Famous has a few blends by him I like, too. These can be had fat a more reasonable price point!

thanks V. I loved Black DPG CC robusto, I have 2 left. Yea, the Blue ones I will age for at least a year and revisit, La Aroma as well, it was a bit harsh and more complex then Black, but had those Black hints in it, it was nice. I also will do the same for Tat Red Nobles robusto, age them for a year or so and try it, since I hated Angeles corona Red I had recently. Yea, both mu himis are at 65 + - 2% for a few months now, so I know it is proper. I will try SLR Beli I have, that was rated high by CA, suppose be chocolaty and I have LGC Churchill to try as well, along with Sancho Panzo Robusto regular line, all were sitting for 2-3 months cooking.. Never tried those.
