With all the dogs on this place it is time to show the real rulers of the house! Cats yup they run our house we have two one of them will even sit with me and smoke a cigar but she only likes Maduro cigars she is my baby but we like to call her Lumpy Lump cause she is Lazy like her Dad her name is Oreo. The little Princess of the house is Nala she is full of spit and vinegar and well drives us all nuts but she loves my son and wife and life would not be the same without her.

Cats freak me out it like they sence the paranormal. My girl wants a orange tabby though and she useualy gets her way.
 
My wife is begging for a kitten for Christmas. I don't really like cats so I hope she forgets about it.
 
People always hate cats till they get one that ends up becoming a part of the Family and then you cant imagine what it is like to not have them. Hell at one point we had two rats two cats and a tank full of fish. It was an apocalypse waiting to happen lol rp
 
I wouldn't mind cats if they didn't have those razor sharp claws. There is nothing like having a cat sit in your lap that decides it needs to leave at maximum velocity by digging in their traction enhancment devices.
 
I have always been a dog lover, but my job does not allow me to have the time for a dog. So I got a 6 week old kitten, then another male friend for him. I was blessed with DOG-CATS!!! One is 12lbs, the other 15lbs and not fat!! They beg for food, come when you whistle, and ALWAYS want to play. My friends are amazed by thier actions... They even fight like fricken ninjas! Some of the arial attacks amaze me! Not sure about all cats, but my psuedo bobcats are awesome!

Let the wives get their own pets. You buy that animal, you'll be taking care of it a lot more than you think. In fact, I would say unless you're cool with the possibility of taking care of it 100% of the time, don't do it. Friendly advice...
 
I like other people's cats, I would never own one. A friend has a Maine Cooon Cat. I like him, 'cause he acts like a dog.

I currently have no cats because I don't have a place for a litter box, but I have added a picture of my favorite former cat. Oddly, as a kitten he dropped dead. Like he fell out of a chair dead one afternoon. I've got no idea what happened because it would have cost $80 for a necropsy. Here is Oki, for "Outside Kitty", but he was in the house about 10 minutes after receiving his name.

This is Julia. We got her in January 2008, discovered she had FLV and she passed, just shy of her 1st birthday, in June. This picture is actually a couple of weeks before she died.

Mittens was given to me after my mom was murdered in 1992 as a way to help me grieve. She acted more like a dog (I suspect it was because she followed Robbie, my dad's ex's corgie around all the time and learned from him). She died in March of this year at the age of 16 after battling cancer.

Julia was one of two kittens. Her sister, Rosie, is still alive and doing well. Although she was nearly feral when we got her, she's socializing really well now and has come out of her shell.

Mittens and Bobcat have been together for a while. I got Bobcat when Mittens was 2 because I thought she needed someone to hang around with. Bobcat was born without a tail and is a hefty "bobcat" Manx.

That said, I want to get a dog or two or three... :) I happen to love all animals, although cats and dogs are the most fun to hang with.
 
Sounds like a pass is in order to match the puppy pass going on?

He speaks the truth. Somehow a little cute 8 week old Jack Russel mix, turned into my dog after about 2 months. Oh well, she goes well with my Great Dane.
