seeking advice for box selection

I've been poking around trying to make a decision for a special box to purchase. It'll be tucked away to the back of the humidor, only to be opened once a year.

Oh hell, just spill it already... I'm having a baby! And to have a sort of celebration on her birthday every year, i'd like a special box to pull from. I've seen a couple others here doing the same, and i'm stealing your idea.

The following are the contenders. The Padron 90's are the only one on the list i've smoked, and the others, well, seem good enough that they'd be worth the gamble of purchasing without having smoked them before.

Padron 90th Natural, box of 10 for $210
Tatuaje Nicaragua cojonu 2012 broadleaf maduro box of 21 for $161
AF casa cuba box of 30 for $288
Bundle of JO's, price varies

Also open to suggestions, just looking for something that'll age well and be damn good every time

I would skip the Padron and casa Cuba. Both great boxes, but the other two are greaterererer options IMO

I would go with the JO’s. Maybe something from the LC or WF lines (they are reasonably priced).

IMO, the FOH Puro Desnudo Canonazo is a really good stick too.

Cigars for this type of occasion are really personal. I would recommend getting something you know you will enjoy versus an unknown. Nothing would be worse than getting a box that was only meh to celebrate with. Good luck and I hope you find the perfect cigar to celebrate with. Don't worry about the price tag, as the women say.... BUY THE SHOES! I'm not saying throw away $$. But this is for YOU. You deserve the best Brother.

I agree with this and I suspect (but don't know for sure) that the Tats and JO's will age better as well.

I would go with Esplendidos or Lanceros depending on your size preference.
