Well, after the first week in the SEC, it looks like my Georgia Bulldogs are going to whip some a$$ in the SEC this year. With dismal performances by SC, TN and Auburn against weak opponents, and Florida's weak win over an unranked opponent, Georgia was the clear conference standout.

I realize there is a whole lot of football left to play (yada, yada, yada...), but I am really encouraged after last weekend.

Go Dogs!!!

TN didn't play all well at all, but we've got a week, and then it's Florida... oh yeah.
 
Georgia was impressive in that game against Boise St. They should do pretty well this year as predicted.
 
I will be watching this weekend. SC played real well, then the second quarter started and things went down hill after that. But they will improve, I just don't think before this weekend against the Dawgs.

I'm going to that game. I CAN'T WAIT!!
This is going to be a fun year in the SEC (the toughest conference year after year), a lot of good teams and a few big changes that should make things interesting. So far we have SC with the classic Spurrier offense which will be fun to play against for the first time ever this year. We also have Georgia fans with big heads over beating up on who..oh yeah Boise State. That was an automatic win Georgia although I will say they looked pretty strong all around. I can't wait to watch Gators beat up the Vols this year. Florida has a few minor bugs to work out but I'm confident that the season will go well and build into an even better season next year. This year the Gator Nation is rising up again so watch out SEC. Gator fans are ALWAYS super excited about EVERY season/ game but this year the energy is much higher than it's been in a while. HERE is an awesome video clip for all of you Gators (and wanna be Gators) out there.

South Carolina :rolleyes: :whistling: is feeling pretty confident this year too with their new coach an' all (even though I don't see it that way at all :laugh: ) BUT if they can beat Georgia this weekend WOW, now THAT would be funny!

Yeah Clemson looked good. At least Jad Dean the kicker did. (BTW he is from my town and he also goes to my church) The Tigers could not score a touch down on offense.

The big game is the last of the season so who knows what to expect. The game I am going to go see is the Florida Vs. USC matchup. Now that is going to be a good game.

Hold on now, Boise St. was a ranked team, as opposed to the SC, FL, TN, and AU opponents on Saturday. In addition, Boise St. has not been a patsy when playing bigger schools, so an automatic win it was not.

I do hope Florida kicks the spurs of SC this year, though.

True, Boise State was a ranked team and they wouldn't lay down without a good fight. I just meant considering that Georgia is a powerhouse EVERY YEAR that there was no doubt who would win that game ;)

I hope we run up the score on Spurrier big time since he used to be bashed for doing that as the head coach at Florida. The irony would be priceless :D
