Sounds like there are several brothers looking to get together so lets start figuring out what we want to do. I of course would love to enjoy some great beer while I am there and I am looking at several different places like Hamilton's Tavern, Toronado, Stone, Alesmith, etc. Does CA law allow smoking on bar/restaurant patios? What night works the best for everyone?

As far as bars that allow smoking, they are pretty limited. I'm a big fan of The Field (Irish Pub) in the Gaslamp downtown - they have a small patio outside with a decent (but expensive) cigar store/lounge across the street. There are also a ton of other bars in the Gaslamp to hit up right around there :thumbs:
