Has anyone done this for any of the shows this spring? Presales start in about an hour for the show I want to see, but I have yet to see any instructions on how it works.

I prefer to not be completely blind once the start time comes up, so I don't waste 10 minutes trying to find where to actually get my tickets!

This is not the ticketmaster presales, but the Rush fan club site.

So how did you do? Sorry I didn't see this earlier. Was it the musictoday presale? When I did it I had no idea you had to create an account prior, so I lost time with that once it started, but got lucky and ended up with a pair in row 4 on the floor.

It was a near disaster. I was all ready to go, already had an account set up and everything, and exactly one minute before the start time the dog starts barking crazy, which makes the 1 year old start screaming crazy, because there was a realtor at the door who wanted to show the house that we're renting to a prospective buyer but neglected to leave a message. Turns out the guy wasn't there yet, but the house was a disaster, I got the dog put in a room, and got the kid to chill out and only lost 5 minutes on the presale. Still couldn't get floor tickets though since there was an AMEX presale the started yesterday. Ended up 10 rows up from the floor, right next to the stage which probably will afford me a better view anyways.

Who's RUSH?? HAhahaha, just playing around old people!! :) Enjoy the show, my neighbor would just about give his left nut to go see em!

If this was a topic about Rolling Stones tickets, then that "old" comment could fly, since those guys and their fans are about a 800 years old...

Just a update, we went to the show last night at Xcel Center in St. Paul, and it was amazing! For three "old" guys they played a show with more energy and dynamics than alot of younger bands out there. And the sound mix was spot on from the very first note, which surprised me because the last couple shows we saw there (The Police, Billy Joel) had sound issues that didn't seem to get resolved until after the first few songs. If this tour hasn't already come through your town and you have the opportunity, you have to go check it out, you won't be disappointed!

I will be at the concert next Sunday in Vancouver, WA!! I eagerly await seeing the show. I remember seeing them in 1977 (I was 4) with my Father in Denver. They palyed with REO speedwagon. Too cool!! Did they play some old stuff too?

Rush has been one of the most consistently awesome shows I have ever seen, I've seen them at least eight times on different tours, from Moving pictures up to Hold Your Fire. The Snakes and Arrows album is very nice! Wish I could see the tour.

Only gripe I have is, they have so many songs that I love, that a set list compiled by ME would take about 10 hours to play :)

Without ruining it for anyone, I will say that yes, they played some older stuff. One from an album in 1976 and a few from an album produced in 1980, and a bunch from later 80's albums. Not much from the 90's though, and a bunch from the newest album. Lots of video screen shenanigans and hijinks, and a short animated clip from some of Neil's buddies (if you've read his books you'll know who I'm talking about).

Enjoy!
