Run for a Local Fallen Officer Today

Good job TP. Way to get out their and show your support. I've been retired from LE for 4 years now and now have a son who just started his career at my old agency. Good to know they are supported by folk like you. Thank you.
 
Well last weekend was this years run and once again it was an amazing turnout of close to 2000 runners and walkers. They changed the course this year a bit to avoid major roads and to up it to a full 10K (6.2miles). I was very happy with my time this year since it was only two weeks before the run that the doctor gave me the okay to run. Coming in at a blistering 1:09:30 :laugh:. When it all comes down to it we (my wife and I) are just there to show our support for all the local hero's behind the badge. Both of her brothers are local police here in NH that we do this run with.
 
Thank you to each and everyone of you that put a badge on everyday to help keep us safe here at home!

I really love these 5K 10K fun runs but our biggest challenge is coming up on Memorial Day when we take on a 1/2 Marathon. Bostons Run to Remember is a 13.1 mile support run  through historical Boston to raise money for Fallen Massachusetts Police Officers. After 6.2 miles I am not ready to add 7 miles to that... Wish us luck!
