RP Edge Sumatra

I have been a long time smoker of the Edge. I started with the corojo and now only smoke the Maduro blend. I hesitated when the Sumatra was released and now have missed out. Does anyone know where I can get some? Maybe part of a sampler with some other good choices or just by itself?

Speaking of missing out, I fell in love with the edge maduro box press/square rolled stick. But that has been discontinued and I never bought the box like I told myself too. Does anyone know of any shops online with this? I used to live in Downtown Denver just a block from Cigars on Sixth; which was a great little cigar shop with everything I could ask for....well now I live in the Peoples Republic of Washington on the west coast and can not find any good shops let alone at a good price because of the ridiculous taxes here.

So in getting used to shopping for smokes online, I mostly shop at FSS and Thompson, but am soooo glad I found you guys because I have learned so much already.
 
Holts is one of the best web sites I have seen in regards to user friendlyness.

What is the deal with PA having all these cigar joints? Half of the good sites I have seen are from PA.
 
Why the price difference between the toro and torpedo? In general you find that, but here you see a difference in length and ring gage. Is it just preference or since it sounds like you have smoked them as well, is the taste different between the two? forgive me for all the questions.
 
I really, really should've jumped on a chest of 100 and set up a coolerdor when these were still available! :(

Belicoso's and Torpedo's are more difficult to roll, thats why they cost more.

you're a noob, so you are just learning. but search can help before you resort to us.
 
a couple things, yes I am learning, going from smoking the edge since 2005 to venturing out now...I have tried search, but have found errors with the site....and I figure I can search and possibly read the response of a person not around any longer because they were here then gone like a fad, or I can ask and get an answer from an "aficionado" like yourself and your hot gf. :cool:
 
I'm a huge lover of the sumatra torpedos. I find there is a difference in flavor between the torpedo and toro, as the toro just doesn't taste as good...and I've had more than several. As a matter of fact, I have a chest resting. Let me know if you need some help picking up some.

I must say that is the hottest avatar I have ever seen!! I am from the Chicago area and lived in lake view for a while....I would love to try some, let me know what you have in mind.
 
I think they were like 6.70 if I remember correctly.
Their humi is huge and I hid 3 boxes way in the back.
I'm going by there tonorrow.
I will grab some. More if anybody wants.
Less if my stash was found LOL

Back to the square and its shape. for those of you that have smoked it; any preference between the two with the toro or torpedo? I only smoked the toro because the torpedo was not avail...but in the edge I prefer the torpedo. Same cigar basically, but just wondering if anyone has an opinion between the two with this cigar.
 
I don't seem to see much of the Sumatra Edge floating around. However, how would it compare to the maduro and corojo?
