I was just poking around looking at flights. Since you’re looking at lodging south of Denver, would it make any sense to fly into Colorado Springs instead of Denver?

That would depend on how far south and where in relation to I25 you are.

COS airport is tucked away in the Springs, so it can more of a pain to get to

Follow up, I live in Monument, CO just about 3 miles from the Air Force Academy, the Springs Airport is 31 miles, and the Denver airport is 65 miles, it only takes me 15 min longer to drive to DEN.

But for you guys coming in, it might not be that big of a deal.

If it were me, and I am not sure what you guys paid last year, but I would look around Layfette.
There is a really nice lounge there as well

@dawgie34203 This Also at least 2 of the cars coming into town are coming from the north. We are looking north of Colorado springs, but we could end up anywhere depending on the number of people that commit.
