Restaurant Quality

Went back home to Utah first time since moving to NoDak about a year ago. Ate at most of my local favorites and all were great. Even ate at a chain I love and it was awesome. Guess it depends where you go.
I think this is the situation. The closer you are to civilization, the lower the quality of anything is which requires effort on the part of the workers.

It's become the American way to short-cut, skim, scam, and flat out cheat the customer. The further you are from the city, the better your chances of finding people who still care.

You may be on to something here Jeff. I’ve had some of the best meals of my life here in NoDak. Still searching for some exceptional Indian & Mexican fare up here but the steaks, Italian, BBQ, sushi & sashimi, fine dining, bar & grill etc have all been outstanding. Service also excellent.

I've never had a bad breakfast or lunch the times we've ventured out to BFE Kane Pennsylvania.

Things are definitely changing.

The only place that has kept their quality high and prices reasonable is In N Out. Yeah I know it's fast food, but that goes to say a lot about the overall quality and consistency of today's restaurant.
