Question About Fuente Sun Grown

If they got caught outright trying to pull a fast one, the retailer should be outed no?
 
The thing is, hemingways either have a natural maduro or sungrown sticker, if I remember correctly, so if there's no sticker at all that's pretty sketchy.
 
Some stores DO put an SG on the front. It really depends on how the storage works in their humi.
If I recall, the Fuente SG sticker is usually on the side....sometimes on the top but rarely on the front.
edit (hmmm, let me double check that last part...it's been a while)

But to not check before sending the product...hmmmm! :angry:

Eiteher way, if the store is on here...that person may want to comment directly.

To update this thread (and after being in touch with Gary about all the details). I just got a shipment in from the same vendor of the same product and it was as advertised. In other words I think this probably was an honest mixup, not something nefarious as both Gary and I had our packages shipped to us on the same day from the same spot.

Man that's some six dollar word there!

Good to hear that the vendor made an honest error and rectified it!

True Anthony. Sometimes we are a little too quick to drop the hammer on a vendor when only an honest mistake was made.

The Internet is a very powerful medium that can really hurt a business based strictly on impetuosity.

I'm bumping this thread after speaking to Gary this morning. I've marked boxes like this as well, since all my boxes face front on the backstock shelves. However, a SG Fuente will always have a "natural sungrown" sticker on the side, as all maduros will have the blue maduro sticker on the side. I think they got caught trying to pull a fast one...plain and simple.

Possible but I did get a legit box from the same vendor on the same day. Might have justt been a stockroom guy screwing up. I have no vendor loyalty in this matter, just think this one might have been a mistake

Is this just a hunch?

Pretty strong statement if it is just a hunch.
Know the vendor would be good knowledge for all of us if your statement is correct.
