PSA: Palio Rides Again

I bought one last year on a special and I find the cutter is really not as special as the old ones. Not good. Basically it squeezes but doesn't cut.

My truck is to close the cutter just enough to push into the cigar, and then rotate the cigar so that it “saws” the cap off for lack of a better term.

I still have the same one I bought in 2006 and honestly, after 13 years it's still sharper than the burl wood one I got 2 years ago.

I have a recently manufactured version, and it not too bad. Let's see in the long term. Has anyone seen or used the Palio V cutter? How does it compare to the Xikar or Colibri (or any others out there)?
