I'm averaging .2 per day for the past year :thumbs:
 
Infrequent but timely and insightful posts are more valuable to the forum IMO, than having some spam king hitting the post button 100+ times in a day to entertain himself and "to participate in the community" as some may think.

Lumberg, Purobrat, Phil and JollyCo use to play the post padding bit for chuckles - where are they now?

I post more on this site than i do anywhere else! I'm not a big talker here in the real world so naturally, i look more than i post. On the bodybuilding boards i'm on i think my highest post count is around ten and i've been surfing the bb boards for almost 8yrs.On those sites you have the same questions being asked over,and over again(no one uses the search button) and people repeating what 10 other people have already said. So, for me, i am a post whore on cp!

Don't know who the the Phil in the original quate was, or the person who's only post is claiming to be him is - but if the original person was banned and created a new account, he's looking a another ban for breaking one of the big rules...

I wasnt aware that I was banned, in fact I don't believe I was. I did however, change email addresses and forgot my PW. I sent an email off to the admin trying to get it straightened out, but havent heard a response yet. FYI
 
I don't think you were banned either but certainly were a persona non grata. It should be up to the members you led on for so long if you are welcomed back. Talk to moki and the rest of them.

Fair enough, assumption on my part based on some of the company mentioned. Like I said, don't know anything about any situation that may have happened.
 
I think it only fair that read more post less crowd who call us post whores should from now on be referred to as read whores. JMO!
 
Thanks MMM for the link. Below is Rod's reply to a previous post on post padding. He makes some very good points. Rod, if I am out of line for quoting you I apologize.



I have noticed quite a bit of nonsense posts lately, such as post padding. I'd rather not see it, since all it does is take up unnecessary resources on the server which in turn CP pay's for.

When someone goes to search for something, it'd be nice if they found what they were looking for rather than a bunch of post padded threads.

QUALITY is always better than QUANTITY. Let's keep CP a quality site.

I'm sure several of us are guilty of post padding, so let's not do it anymore. I think this is a very fair thing to ask for the better of CP.

PS - I don't have any problem kicking flood control up a notch.
