I've been looking around at some poker places this week and found something perhaps. Pokerroom has a section called Pokah! which is for groups. I started a cigar pass group but haven't tried out the site yet. For all I know it may not be any better then Yahoo, but perhaps someone with more ecperience could check it out and let me know what you think of the place. PM me and I'll aprove any CPers rightaway.

Cigar Pass Pokah! Group

I have been playing on Pacific Poker and Party Poker some this week. I think I like the mechanics of Pacific Poker the best, but I like the No Limit games on party poker better there. Im down a little on Pacific (tough to get back up with the limits), and up a little on Party Poker.

I used to play, I don't know, gin or something with a friend on yahoo a long time ago and was just not real excited with how it all worked there for some reason.
 
I'm not certain how to set all this up, but here is the link to signup for pokah.

The goup I started is called Cigar Pass and I found it on page 35 of the group listings. It's a private group so join it once your a member and I approve you into the group.

OK, I got BrownDevil and aaeroswat both approved into the group and I set you two both as moderators as well. I hope you can approve new members if I'm not arround. Let me know if you can or cant.

I'm slightly disapointed in poker room though. I was hoping you could make a private table open to anyone from a specified group. Looks like all the groups are for is chat boards and such. We allready seem to have one of those. Still, private tables are available at poker room at least.
 
I'm going to be out tonight so I can't play, but I did get everyone approved into the Pokah group thats applied so far. I check in some more before tonight as well.

Im not sure what good the group is on Pokah other then being able to post private table info and such, but that can be done here as well. ??? Still, it's there to use if anyone finds it usefull.

I REALLY wish Party poker had private tables for play money available. I really like playing there. Anyway.
