My step father has been missing since last night around 9:00 PM. He was at a lodge meeting and left and no one has seen him after that. He's diabetic and has no medication with him. Please pray for his safe return. Thank you.
 
Prayers sent. Hopefully it will be a quick and safe return.
 
Thank you everyone. The police in the area called off the search but told me to contact the sherriffs dept. They said they have to have someone call me back because she wasn't allowed to give out the info. 30 minutes later and no call back so far. I'm affraid the worst may have happened. A phone call from them would go a long ways right about now. I'll keep you updated. Thank you all very much.

Why did they tell you to call the Sheriff's Department? ??? Why the hell did they call off the search? Also, they should have already placed a APB for him if you filed a missing persons report. Based on his medical history, he is considered "At Risk,' and the PD should have taken a report... If they took a report, they would have notified the surrounding agencies about his disappearance.

Try calling the Sheriff's back a few more time. Most of the time, Sheriff's are terrible at "calling people back."
 
Thank you everyone. I called the hospital in the area. He is there. (Never got a call from the Sheriff) He totaled the truck but he is going to be ok. He blacked out, went through a ditch and into a tree. He is pretty banged up but he might go home today. He was in the desert all night until this morning. Thank you so very much for the prayers. I'm going to the hospital now.
 
I'm thankful someone found your dad and he ended up getting the treatment needed. May he make a full recovery!
 
Oh man, sorry to hear about all this. At least glad to hear he made it into a hospital and will hopefully be okay.
