I was recently at a herf in the Quad Cities. A friend showed up with three of these, he gave two of them away - one to me. He torched the last one and while he enjoys a full bodied smoke, he said it kicked his butt. I intend to let this sit in the humidor for a while to rest then I will light her up and post a review. I found a thread that Moki initiated stating he has had one, but I was unable to find a review.
I have heard of the Pinar line of pre-embargo tobacco, but this is the first I have come across in person. I believe it to be a blend of pre-embargo Cuban and Ecuadorian tobacco’s. I understood these to be made in the US (Miami), but notice the wording on the box.
I would certainly appreciate any information on this particular cigar.
