Pictures of the fire from earlier today

I was sitting at work, not paying attention to the noise on the street outside my office... partly because it's an older building, we're on a busy street, and there's construction going on all along the block. But a loud, building shaking BOOM and clouds of smoke kinda made me look out the window.
We ran downstairs to find out a van had caught fire and something exploded.

From what I've heard, there were no injuries.

That's crazy. Any idea what specifically happened to it? And who's Mr Anti-Flag? Is that you? You look pretty happy about the exploded van.

I was talking to one of the guys pouring the sidewalks and he said the van pulled over past the barricades and it was smoking, either from under the hood or the dash inside. It just got worse from there. Fire station is only about 4 blocks from the scene too, and all in all it was fairly contained so there was no collateral damage to any property... maybe a little to the fresh concrete from the water/chemicals used to fight the fire... and the spot where the fireman fell and put a nice big elbow imprint while checking on the businesses in the area.
