Stoped at Philly Smoke Shop yesterday afternoon and I have to tell you if you are in the area you have to visit that place. Turns out i have been there before but since Chris took it over its a totally different environment.
Selection is great with many boutique brands and sizes available and the prices are a joke ( no NYC taxes :love: )
But what really makes the place special is the owner.
Chris was a great host. We talked a lot about the city of Philladelphia, sports, HERFS ,etc. He is a very well rounded and intelligent guy with a great sense of humor. Chris is also one of the most generous people you will ever meet. By the time he closed the store I had a full bag of freebies: magazines, shirts, cigars .... and some that have not even been released yet :thumbs:
You think that would be enough. Well we went to dinner which I said would me my treat, but Chris used his unfair advantage of Korean language fluency and his long reach with a solid grab and stole the bill from the waiter before I had a chance to react. Well maybe the Korean drink we had played a role in my reaction time, but I plead the fith on that one :whistling:
One thing is for sure next time he comes to NYC, Chris better bring along a healthy appetite and a lot of free room in his cigar caddy as this time revenge will be mine. Hey buddy this time its vodka shots all around, and I just might be downing it straight from the bottle. We will see who wins that round :sign:
Anyway long story short. Anyone who is remotelly close to Philly should stop by the Philly Smoke Shop you will not regret is !!!!!
