Pay It Forward-CP style

This can really start to grow pretty fast.....chain letter effect :D I've e-mailed my snailer to one individual already and can see this coming back around more then once...haha!!

The movie's concept of this was that the paying forward was to be done to a total stranger for it to have the desired effect. If you saw the movie you'd understand. Another source for names are other cigar forums. I suggest you only post a request for snailers without explanation. Explain everything when you send the package. When you are blindsided by someones unsollicited generousity it creates the desired effect that this idea came from. Makes people more likly to return the good deed by "paying it forward".

I agree Allofus, but I was hoping it would get through the CP membership first, since it is a CP pass. But, it's up to the individuals after they get the first "gift" who or when they pay it forward to.

My first 3 went to locals:
1. My friendly local postman
2. The chorus director for the Texas Millionaires who'll be joining us shortly at CP
3. A recent addition to the CP family, JamesWyatt also of the TM.

All understand the concept and have seen the movie and agree to the particulars. I think, no, I KNOW the postman's looking forward to delivering more packages here :cool:

Matt and Dave: alls I can say is I'm in aroma bliss. Opening your own humi and smelling that rich mixture is sheer heaven. Sure beats the heck outta spending a half an hour shopping for a new one.

On a second note, I STILLL NEED SNAILERS! Not a single one - zip-zero-nada - have replied. Pay it forward was, and still is, a grand idea.

Man, I can't believe I didn't post this earlier. I found three non-cigar pass users that seemed pretty enthusiastic about the idea so "paid" them. Wouldn't it be cool if the three non-members somehow paid it forward through enough people to get it back on the board here?
Oh yeah, before you ask, OF COURSE I told them about Cigar Pass! :)
Cool idea, too bad it seems to have cooled off on the board here.....
