Obiviously Lumberg you weren't following the posts in this thread and all around the board? All the quanity for quality threads being posted? The post are plain as day.
Cohiba I do not appreciate your tone. I can read and comprehend as well as you can. Why dont' you let someone who actually has a take in this pass answer this question rather than revert to your "**** stirring" ways?blair said:What are you thanking me for? Fatshot, excellent puts and takes!! Very generous. HOWEVER, there is still time to take the BTL. If you want it, make a trade. I didn't mean to imply that it is off-limits. In fact, I'm a little worried that this pass has taken on a serious tone and that is the last thing that I wanted when I started it. My intentions were to make a quite laid back pass and we've kinda gone the other way (albeit, perhaps necessarily.) Either way, I don't want anyone to sweat their p and t's too much. The idea is to just make it fair and you, and everyone else thus far, have gone way WAY above and beyond. THAT IS VERY APPRECIATED. Still, at the same time I don't want those who follow (i.e. those who are further down the mailing list) to think that this is what must be done. Most do - because we have a very generous group here at CP - but it isn't a requirement. As an example, coventrycat is currently swamped in passes. If you're in four simulataneous passes and you over-put on every one of them it takes to fun out of it. You've deleted your stock! So, long post-short - everyone, just have fun with it. If you are in a giving mood, then by all means give! But, don't put in a penny extra because you feel as though you have to.
Again, great puts Fatshot. And thanks for the host cigar! I love a surprise !

I'm have to agree with cohibasurfer the BTLs is very hard to get.Lumberg said:I thought that two Opi for one BTL was a fair trade. The rest of the puts cover the rest of the takes IMO.cohibasurfer said:???blair said:I don't know whether or not it is necessary to mention this, but I got a pm regarding the BTL that Phil put and well... Be careful trading the BTL - Because of its rarity (there are very few boxes of these released annually), it is one those cigars that can't be traded by a price-to-price match. In my opinion no Opux X would match this one.
I say this, not only because I am hoping to end up with it :sign:, but because of the recent attention that has been paid to square dealing. Price-to-price isn't always the only factor to consider. This cigar is a good example.
That having been said, feel free to make a trade for it if you have a qualifying cigar. The cigar was (very generously) donated by Phil for the box pass and it should be treated as fair game. I only want to address the fact that price and rarity come into play with this one!
Thanks!!!
Anyways I have the pass and will be looking through it shortly. My internet was broken all weekend and it just got fiexed and I have a ton of things to do today.

I want PhatAsh to have the cigar; but only if he has a (single) cigar to match its caliber. Quality for quality has been a well-established rule around here (i.e. CP, not just this pass) lately.Be careful trading the BTL - Because of its rarity (there are very few boxes of these released annually), it is one those cigars that can't be traded by a price-to-price match. In my opinion no Opux X would match this one.
Okay folks if you want my .02 on this here it is.vewyphishy said:I think the BTL's rarity is without question... but in terms of quality, they're about the same. In fact, I'd even say the Opi are better in that regards. Just something to think about.
When you say "Obiviously (sic) Lumberg you weren't following the posts in this thread and all around the board? All the quanity for quality threads being posted? The post(sic) are plain as day." That is less than respectful. That is what I was referring to when I said that I do not appreciate your tone.cohibasurfer said:Lumberg.... I am in this pass. :0
But that has absolutely nothing to do with it. And my tone is all in your head. I am simply stating the facts as everyone here can attest.
The post quote you provided means what? Exactly what does that support?
And I'm not trying to stir any "****". You are greatly mistaken there. However I'm not suprised by your responses in the least. It never fails when someone isn't curtious enough to accept corrective critisism, they lash out and point fingers at others. You need to check yourself.
I'll will however let some of the others here post there oipinion on this, instead of argue with you myself. I don't think your going to get any help though.
Hey, thanks man!!Lumberg said:Oh just wanted to say I think the packaging of the pass is really well done. I think the map in particular is a nice touch.
Regarding the 1926, I had actually already commented on it as trade for the BTL ??? The '26 just doesn't seem to stack up to the BTL. I think the '26 is far more common than the BTL. It's a GREAT smoke, but comparatively common.blair said:The 1926's though don't even match price-for-price, do they? I may not be looking in the right place, but they seem to be about $20 whereas the BTL about $35. Is that right? Also, the 1926's are hard to find but are they as illusive as our BTL?
