Partagas 150s

I obtained a few of these (AA size) a while ago and was sceptical to say the least. I, like Moki, love Opus and the stronger cigars of the full bodied world but I have to say one thing...I love this cigar. It's one of those experiences that need to be had. Open your mind and grab a glass of water (anything stronger will over power the cigar) and sit down for a great experience. The flavors and changes through the cigar are outstanding and complex...mild and spectacular. It is a good change from the norm of kick you ass strong cigars. I relish having these in my humi and will grab one about every 3-4 months. The only thing about them is that at this point they are so old and aged that they have mellowed so much (not much nicotine rush), I wouldn't wait any longer to light them up. Moki, enjoy them. :thumbs:

hrm yeah I have a few Ramon y Ramons laying about too. I'm intrigued, I'll give 'em a shot.
 
I have humidor 223/1000. $700.00 is the going rate.

I would advise you not to buy them though, unless you really like the 150's.
 
I have never seen that one before, and I started working in the store in 96.
The 150's are good, but I wouldn't think $800.00 good..........hum....who knows?
 
Yeah I've never seen/heard of this "book" he's talking about in the auction.
 
The humidor does not work, as it has virtually no seal.

Interesting presentation though...
 
If I remember correctly the humidor was around $250.00 when they first came out.

Now they are a rip...
 
I believe Famous just had one of these up for sale at $1K in the last month. Not the first one I've seen but the value crashes if you ever open it.
 
I have a whole bunch of these 150s but was not impressed too much with the one that I smoked when I 1st got them. I will have to smoke another one tomorrow now that you all have made me think about them.

One thing I know about them for sure is that thier wrapper is very fragile. I had to try and repair a couple of mine with that pectin stuff.

Just don't drink anything stronger than water with it and they are great. :thumbs: Just not strong...but you know that, Alan.
