Pappy Van Winkle in Md/DC

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle? Preferably close to Bethesda/Silver Spring/DC.

I'm sure the likes of Schneider's or MacArthur would be able to source a bottle or two if they don't have it in stock.

Good luck, it is very scarce these days....There is none to be found around here. I hope you are able to find some as it is an exquisite drink. There is some 23 yr. floating around for $250 a bottle in some stores here....

20 year can be had from the distillery for a price if you know someone close by.

Central Liquors in DC probably has some since few will pay the price they are asking.

Well, i was able to find a bottle of 15 yr at Pearson's in DC. Had some yesterday neat, and a little with some ice. The ice really openned it up and made it something amazing.

In calling up the shops listed above, I've discovered a whole new level of liquer stores. I guess this comes from looking for hard to find whiskey and bourbon. Just like with cigar stores, there are great ones and mediocer ones. For those looking for some Pappy, or 4 Roses or practicly anything else, call around these stores in DC, I'm sure you find what your looking for.
