I'm glad to see Bill thought it was legit, I was thinking it looked really good to me.

I'm sure some love them, but Upmans are not a favorite of mine.

I also seem to recall that Pres Kennedy favored them.

Upmann are probably my favorite of all, always interesting how tastes differ.

Sounds about right! My parents brought me back a Siglo V from Jamaica that was legitimate to my amazement a few years ago.

Thanks, Bill. Her friend's family is, shall we say, not poverty stricken, so I suspect they took her to nice places. But then I also suspect they don't know the first thing about cigars.

Looks legit. But having money doesn’t necessarily equate with smarts. The only test left is to smoke it, since you never had a Cuban, you should notice the difference in taste profile pretty quickly. Now, just hope you are not one of the people who has a palate that does not like the taste profile of Cubans. There are people who just have that bad luck. Once you have more experience under you, you will be able to discern a very distinct aroma at cold, and flavor. HUpmann is a nice 1st, if genuine.

No, not yet. Was making sure it had plenty of time to recover after what may have been a traumatic experience, being in the custody of my Crazy Daughter all the way from T&C to NY. This week perhaps.
