This makes me very sad...but I'm sure the beetles had a lot of fun!! ???

That picture with the beetle eaten cigars is the most heartbreaking thing Ive seen in a long time. I was sitting here looking through all this nice cigar porn then :0 Nooooooo...

Bastid beetles... I try to convince myself that if I get a box of a cigar that nice nothing bad could ever happen to it. except a series of small fires ;)

I just realized that "reference" is misspelled in the title of this thread. I searched for "reference" in the titles of threads to find this one and it didn't turn up; when I sifted through the returns for "padron" there it was.

Great thread, and good on the 2005RTDA updates.

yeah, that mispelling screws me up everytime i look for this thread. ive asked for it to be changed, but with no luck.

New Releases Announced at the 2005 RTDA Show:

Padrón 1926 Serie

New Size! "No. 35"...............4.0 X 47

"I bet there are guys out there who feel the same way I do about throwing away a perfectly good cigar because of time constraints. So when I went to Nicaragua, I told the factory to make a 4 x 47 cigar for me. On the way from the farm to Esteli, the cigar took 35 minutes to smoke. So we decided to call it the No. 35" -George Padrón

( In comparision, a Padrón 1964 Anniversary El Principe is 4.5 x 46 )

Padrón 1964 Anniversario

"A" size will be available in a 10 count box. Previously this size was only available in the holiday sampler packages.

The No. 35 is a God sent for me. I love a good half an hour smoke. Great for a car ride. Allows more people to try them also because they are cheaper.

I would like to suggest that this thread be locked and pinned. Great info MMM.

Seconded - this is definitely pin worthy.

Hey Rod, could we pin this post? Valuable info here just like the Opus one that is pinned.

I agree about pinning this up too...Does anyone know if all sizes of PAMs use the same tabacco blend?

Sent Rod an email regarding the possibility of pinning this thread.

Holt's put out the 1926 #35 today. They were selling it for $10.00 and I assume that this is MSRP since they don't do much markup at all. Looks like a gorgeous little stick. Maybe a bit too small though. (I think they come 24 to a box like the others too.)

I don't see that up on their site, I guess it is in-store only?

I'm more interested in the 'A's but would probably pick up a few #35s for fun.

I just had to say BIG THANK YOU!!! What an educational & well descriptive reference post, really something to admire & behold. This can really turn any virgin into a Padron Anniversario slut  and the rest into total PAN/PAM/PMM unbrided whores :sign:

Anybody seen a 10ct "A" box yet? How much is it supposed to cost?
