Now as far as marking the maduros go, is this really such a bad idea? Some sort of second band like Rocky Patel uses on his Sungrowns would go along way to stop problems in the future, not everyone buys boxes, either because of monetary reasons or not wanting to fill their Humidor with all of the same smoke.

Not a smart business move. If you add a band you pay more for the cigar. I also don't think padron would care if YOU mixed up a natural with a maduro.

Here's a good idea.....you buy a few blank bands for a couple of cents, mark the few cigars you have and we'll keep the price of Padron's down for the community. My $0.02

cigar boxes (MOST OF THEM) have a sticker on them that says the wrapper type. Padron is one of them. :thumbs:

I know they do, but not everyone has room for alot of boxes, and also like to try new cigars with every purchase KB. I'm one of them. Shibumi's idea to mark the cigars myself is a good one (and I already do number my cello wrapped cigars to keep track of them in a Access databank I wrote.) But if I cant tell which cigar is what by looking at them, well that kinda defeats the purpose.

You're gonna LOVE me then wormy. Here's a clue for ya free of charge, it is considered bad form to insult the person you are apologizing to while you're apologizing. Here's an example: "I'm sorry for being a jerk", now this pretty much covers it however, "I'm sorry for being a jerk because you're an a$$" just doesn't seem to convey remorse.

When you buy a Padron box it has a Maduro or Natural sticker on the box... putting one on the band is overkill.
