Padrón 1926 Serie Maduro MSRPs

I was in a shop over the weekend and they wanted $18.95 for the #9 I couldn't do it, to rich for my blood.

I picked up a 1926 maduro sampler (4 cigars) for $85.00 .

Good price??

Good? No. Outlandish? Also no.

Famous has 'em listed @ $66 (not that they've ever been in stock).

The maduro 1926s are probably the hardest of any of the Padrons to find. I've actually found Opus and Anejos in shops more often than I've found maduro 1926s.

Definitely agree on the opus part.

Maybe, on the Anejo part.

That's exactley my point, what good are low prices somewhere else if they are usually all sold out?!? ;)

well,

the no.1 is $20
the no.9 is $18
the no.2 is $16
the no.6 is $12

for a total of $66 retail.

The shop where I go to had the sampler at $69 if I recall correctly, which is still over retail but then again what are the odds of finding one of each in any given shop? I guess you pay a little for being able to "sample" them all.

Also remember that the sampler comes in a nice box. Singles don't. I think $85 is a decent fair market price. Everyone is free to choose whether they want to pay the premium, but its not an insane markup. It's not like the people who charge $25 a stick for singles. They are just con artists.

That's definitely good to hear. (that I wasn't taken).

I agree Other1 ,them smokes in them there boxes shur look purty! :p

I would love to get ahold of some of the 1926's for a special occasion smoke. They are just so hard to find! Opus and 1964 are easier to find

I just did some searching and did find a site that had 1926's in stock. Maduro #1 - $25.00 and Maduro #9 - $21.00. Steep price to pay :0

I can usually get naturals at a store by me if you want. They never have the maduros though.

A #9 for $21 is not that ridiculous when you consider retail is already $18. Is $3 really going to keep you from getting one? I may be able to find some at my shop, I'll let you know.

It's not the price that keeps me from getting them now. It's the fact that my cigar budget is shot this month :sign: Plus I just bought some 1964 Mad's.

Like I said earlier, my local guy has the 1926 Maduro Samplers for $85 (I know it's a tad high, but better quality and smoke than the cheaper priced out of stock 1926's :0 ). And I know he has a couple boxes of the 1964's Superior Madies. Let me know if your interested and I will stop by to check on the prices and what he has left.

I just picked up a few 1926 Number 6's for $20/stick.

My tabacconist says he has a few millenium that he is going to give me a good price on. Will talk with him this week about them.

Anyone know the going rate on those today?
