Growing too fast.
I picked up a fiver of these cigars from Al’s (Puffstuff) while at the Georgia herf. The wrapper is a very dark brown with small veins throughout and noticeable oiliness. It has a good weight in the hand, firm when squeezed, and with the cap punched I find a perfect draw with fresh tobacco taste that has hints of sweetened cocoa.
After getting the foot burning well, I take a couple puffs then a long draw and get a very good spiciness in the good, medium-bodied smoke. Flavors are very rich with tastes of sweet cocoa, coffee, and leather. The smoke is thick and coats the tongue, almost chewy. There’s a very good twang to the smoke, simply fantastic to my palate.
The burn is sharp with a very dark gray ash forming that holds strong, and the draw has a perfect resistance allowing just the right amount of smoke to flow through. Flavors are incredibly rich and seemingly complex with a finish that is long on the palate, excellent.
This cigar performed perfectly throughout with a sharp burn, delicious flavors, and fantastic finish that lasted long on the palate after exhaling. I’m wishing now I had grabbed up the remaining sticks that were in the box at Al’s. An excellent smoke paired with a delicious cup of fresh brewed coffee!
