I'm all over this one! I haven't had a discussion with the wife yet, but unfortunately as time progresses it is coming down to, "I don't give a F*@%". I'll be there. And the more I think about it, my vote is for leaving Friday night right after work. I can drive 6 hours and J can get his beauty sleep (trust me, he needs all the help he can get :p ). Hopefully Steve will make it too.

What do Oregon, Montana, & Alaska all have in common? Strip clubs that offer full nudity and alcohol under the same roof. :thumbs: I heard in Seattle they have instituted a 4' rule, but I'm not sure if that applies in Vancouver. But as BBS pointed out, Portland is not far at all. :cool:

If you guys get in Friday late night, we can get started as early Saturday as the group feels like it. I'm probably not going to be up for partying on Friday night as I've got to be up at 0500 to get Swissy at PDX.

Not sure if Swissy will have been up all night / want to get some shut eye first but it's up to you guys.... :thumbs: I like to start the day with coffee and a good smoke... :cool:

Now, I need to let all of you know about on of the cats attending the HERF... TheVitaleMob!!!
So, I've been iffy about attendend due to lack of a ride down that way. Now, my GF has to take her NAC test that weekend, so I thought all hopes where shot of me attending! I get a PM from VitaleMob asking me if I would like a ride?!?! WTF? Chris offers to drive 1 1/2 - 2hrs... IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION of where he needs to go, to get my ass a ride down there!!!

Wow bro... I just want to say thanks!!! :thumbs:
So, YES... I WILL BE THERE!!!

Can't wait to see all the "ugly muggs" that go along with the posts!!! ;)

I drive 350 miles a day for my truck driving job, and a couple of months ago, drove 3000 miles in 5 days. extra 3 hrs each way is a piece of cake, just as long as I have my electrified trucko cooler hooked up with an endless supply of Gatorade and Jolt Cola via 3 foot tubes that go over the headrest!!!!

Mas Tequila!!!! (Not while driving tho!) :cool:
 
Fellas, I know I've been quiet on this thread, but I'm still wrangling with the wifely unit. I just got back from the BBQ Herf last week, I've got a poker game/herf scheduled for this Friday and my fantasy football draft is next Tuesday. Needless to say, she's not all that excited about me taking a trip to Portland next weekend. ???

Anyhoo... I'm still trying to make this work and will post updates as they happen. ;)

Funny stuff - my wife was considering "taking a powder" until I pointed out that some salmon may show up. "Hmm....guess I'd better stick around" was the quick reply to that.... :laugh: :laugh:

Hmmmm... Smoked salmon IS just about her favorite food of all time... :whistling:

I'll play the "salmon card" the next time the topic of the trip comes up -- but if I do, and it works, then I have to deliver! :laugh:
