Packing a bottle for shipment

Sorry to jump on this thread at the end...I recently sent my dad a 12 pack of my homebrew. I put each bottle in it's own gallon ziplock baggie, then used spray foam to keep it all nice and snug in the box. Everything arrived safe and sound. Also, I sent it USPS Ground it takes longer, but seems a little safer. I actually was given this info from a guy I sat next to on an airplane once...a warehouse manager for the USPS. He said as long as there is some kind of spill containment and they're packaged tight enough it should be good to go.
