On Saturday at the event I asked Mr. Gomez what the wrapper on these was. He laughed at me, said "I don't know" with an evil grin on his face, and then laughed at me again. Whatever it is, he said they had never used it before and they had very little quantity of it available.

Got my graffiti box today! It's a great looking box of cigars, but why do they have the 2007 bands?
 
I have no idea why they got the 07 bands on them. In every way except the actual stick, they look exactly like the 07's even down to the box.

I was wondering that at the event, but completely forgot to ask Litto/the outlaw employees.

I am sure that the bands were shipped to LfD to be put on the cigars. In any event, I'm sure it was oversight whoever was involved.
 
Or he just used bands left over from the 07 release, which I believe was a larger production than these were(something a little under 50 boxes IIRC).
 
Just got off the phone with Smoky Balls.They do have the 07 bands on them.The way you tell the difference between them & the 07's is the lower band.On the 08's the bands are touching.On the 07's there is a small gap between them.
 
Also, I believe the 07's have the Ligero bands while the 08's simply have the plain LFD bands.
 
The sticks arrived! Thanks guys, after they spend some time getting adjusted I will try one out.

The box arrived on Saturday. They look great... can't wait until they've rested a little bit so I can light one up.
