Very interesting ...... in searching out some of the Fuente Fuente's I'm finding prices all over the board. I was just quoted $17.50 for the FF's and $19 for the Robusto. Yikes!, good thing I have this handy dandy price list ......ummmm ..... but can you actually locate them at these prices?

Once again thats only MSRP Good luck at finding any at that price unless you have a good source like Moki has , I think he goes direct to the factory to get his.

Also keep in mind that MSRP does NOT include state tobacco tax (which can be significant, depending on where you live) or sales tax.

I noticed alot of differance on the net for anejo as well it went from 19.99 to 36.00 funny I could not find any at the usual store price of 14.99 and thats still to high. For boxes I found 1 sight that said 395.00 but they were always out. All they way up to 695.00

What you are running into are gougers. These cigars are in high enough demand that people will buy them at retail price, and resell them at double MSRP or more. Cigar stores that do not have accounts for these cigars also do this, some don't even have Fuente accounts, but buy these cigars retail, mark 'em up, and believe it or not, people pay the premium.

I'm guessing with where I live 14.95 is about the best I will do.
The Tinder box here blows them out at that price.

It's very interesting how different vitolas in different brands seem to be the most popular and most saught after. I can not find any Fuente Fuente size at MSRP but can locate all the #4's I want. Also those "sharks", fuhgetdaboudet .......

I think MSRP for Opus may have gone up a bit in '05. My store has always sold Opus right at MSRP, and Rangers were 8.25 all last year. The spring shipment was priced at 10.00. I don't think they would have raised the price unless they were getting charged more by Fuente. I forgot to ask though...
