...all that is generous and kind hit me with a sneak attack.
Whopper and CigSid!
Two truly epic and mind blowing bombs!
Whopper Whom I do know and have interacted with years past. Always a good guy, with a palate that I can appreciate.
CigSid, whose posts I've noticed on board, recently, but do not really "know". At least now, I know, he is one sneaky SOB with impeccable taste in cigars.
Both managed to pack all but one smoke each that I've never tried, and those two that I have had, I am out of.
.
Two wonder-full samplers of top shelf cigars made by all of my favorite makers. I've been really curious about so many of these!
You both have really contributed to making smoking these true adventures and experiences to be savored and remembered.
I kid you not when I say that it literally made me feel like a kid on christmas.
My life has been real challenging the past few years. The job of 23 years has been in a horrible business climate, and my back and neck have become so bad that I cannot enjoy certain aspects of life like I once did. (I basically have no discs left). To say this was uplifting and welcome is the epitome if understatement.
I have so much to be thankful for. The most redeeming part of my life is my young boy, who is a joy. He is truly, at 10, a remarkable person. Full of love, compassion, generosity, intelligence, and a strong moral fiber. As a single parent, he makes the task rewarding and fulfilling.
The other place of solace is my love of Tobacco, the friends I have made through enjoying it. I truly enjoy participating in the small degree that I have been able to.
Witnessing folks enjoying life, succeeding in life, and discovering what life has to offer has always brought me a deep sense of satisfaction. With all the talk of how crazy the world is, we can look at each other, here, and wink with a knowing eye, that there are still plenty of good hearted men and women operating above the din, actively trying to make the world they know a place of peace and happiness. For this I am truly grateful.
Again, thank you from the deepest recesses of my being.
