Not Your Everyday Cigar Pass 2
It's time again. I've been giddy all summer for this one to get going, waiting for the cooler weather and so forth. These are cigars that I personally don't consider everyday cigars. Things I save to bring to events or herfs, or savor when I have time to myself. Well, maybe a couple of them almost qualify as everyday cigars, but you get my drift. One thing's for sure, as evidenced by the initial number of cigars, I've had a really hard time picking and choosing cigars I think are special. I've also tried to include a little of everything.
If you would like to participate in this pass, you must have completed at least one pass with flying colors. No hanging onto the pass for extra days for no reason, no questionable puts/takes, and certainly no deals gone bad associated to your name (unless you were the one that got screwed). I would prefer to have traded with you previously. Mostly, I want to be sure everyone involved has taken a look at the cigars below, and feel confident that they can play along. I don’t want the pass to get to you, and you have nothing worthy of trading. I haven’t set a time limit for membership here because there’s a few of you that I know would like to join that are great people but haven’t been around over a year. Bottom line, these are all very special cigars to me, and I’m not going to chance anything going wrong here.
PM me your vitals if you’re interested. A few folks may receive invites, but this is not an invite only pass. Preference goes to those invited, those that participated in the last NYECP, those who I have traded or passed with in the past, then I guess everyone else, in that order.
I am also a member of CPI for which this pass will be covered, please consider joining up, the thread is in the Website Information forum.
The Rules:
1. When you receive the pass, please do an inventory and make sure everything is there and numbered correctly.
2. Please inspect the box and packaging materials for proper cigar packing. Refill humidification devices as necessary. Either post your concern or contact me directly.
3. Do not remove the cigars from their baggies unless they are part of your approved P&T’s.
4. Please post your proposed P&T’s in the forum for approval. If anyone has an issue with someone else's plays, please be polite about it and post your concerns in the forum. You are all experience passers and esteemed members, this really doesn't even need to be said, but I like to be thorough.
5. P&T’s should be ISOM for ISOM, NC for NC, Premium for Premium and all should be value for value, one for one only.
6. Please notify next person in line via a post in this thread and/or pm prior to shipping to confirm they are ready.
7. Ship package via USPS with DC or equivalent with FedEx or UPS and post the DC# in the forum. Be sure the next person in line is able to easily accept your shipping method before you send it. (for example don't send UPS to a PO box)
8. Have fun!
The cigar list will be updated on this first post throughout the pass. There will be a hard copy of the list in the pass, as well as possibly a USB stick with an Excel spreadsheet of that list that should be updated.
There's a Word document with the participants and their addresses and an Excel document with the cigar list. They have both been saved to a USB flash drive which will be in the pass. You can get the next person's address off of the Word Document, or the paper copy included in the pass. Please, unless you don't have Excel, update the saved file as well as the hard copy list in the pass with your puts and takes. I will also be tracking the puts and takes on the first post of this thread.
