Its 10:10pm here in Phoenix and the weather is perfect. Earlier today at the cigar store I bought a Nub Connecticut 460, and I have to say its pretty damn skippy. For a short cigar, its been hanging on for quite a while. I tend to smoke fast so its rare that I find a cigar that I can sit and enjoy for more than 20 minutes, and I'm barely getting to the last third after 35 minutes. Very tasty. The burn is perfectly straight (unlike the tatiana's I usually smoke). The only downside of this cigar is the loose draw. All the other Nubs I've smoked were a little more tight, which is what I prefer but for some reason this one is wrapped a little loose. I'm not sure if its all Connecticuts that are like this or if its just a default. I didn't trim off all that much. Anyone here ever smoked one of these? let us know what you think of it. I give it a 4/5

Interesting. I hadn't considered Nub since like you, I burn through cigars pretty quick. A churchill rarely lasts me 60 minutes unless its a really really good one. Did it transition a lot from one (mini) third to the next or was it pretty consistant?

It was like any other short cigar. Burn slow in the beginning and faster towards the end. The concept of a Nub is to simulate the second and third of a normal cigar, which i didn't see at all. It was just like a normal cigar as far that goes. The ash hung on real good too which is something else I like. I only had to tap it twice throughout the whole smoke.

The Maduros are quite tasty like someone else said, the other that I like of the line was the Habano... I still say that while these are a decent smoke, they are not what they were intended to be and probably won't ever be my goto smoke... I have to agree with another thread here on CP and say that them claiming to only hit the sweet spot of the cigar is nothing more than a marketing tactic

Maduros are VERY tasty...but I prefer the Cameroon a tad bit over the Maddie...

IMHO..
