Glad it made it there safe and sound!

Wish I could say the same for my computer. :( Hard drive crashed yesterday and CANNOT be revived. (I am on wifes computer now.) This is really bad for more reasons than I can go into. At any rate, I am trying to get it worked out and taken care of right now.

In the meantime Wade, hang onto the cigars until I get to Guyana. (We leave on May 12th.) That way, that is just one less thing for me to worry about until I get there. Once I get there, I will be in touch with you and give you all the info you will need to send it to me. :D :) :D

I am DELIGHTED at how this pass has gone. It has truly been WONDERFUL! ! !

I'll let you guys know how the computer "saga" plays out later.

Luckily you have a recent backup.

Only a total moron would have really super important data on their drive and no backup.

Seriously, though -- sorry to hear it. Drive crashes suck. But also, seriously: buy 2 hard drives to replace. One replacement, one 2ce that big for backup. Hard-disk is cheap, and well worth the investment!

(Backup drive can even be slow/cheap one. You mostly just care that both drives don't die on the same day.)

As a matter of fact, I did have a backup, but I have spent the past 55 hours working on getting everything working again.

Ok... first off, I have a confession to make. I'm not gonna hold the pass hostage nor am I going to raid it although the thought did cross my mind ;) I tried to follow all the rules... you know... My desktop supply of everyday Fuentes was running low and your pass had so much of them so I took what I wanted but I don't have much similar sticks so I'm very sorry Bruddah... Everyone. . . Thanks for playing and making this a FANTASTIC pass! I sincerely mean it! You all did great, and made my first pass one to remember.

I may do one in REVERSE from Guyana. That would truly be fantastic! If you are interested, let me know and I will see what I can do about getting that one started too! Probably will wait another month or so to kick that one off. I will probably start with me, then on to Wade (if he is interested) and then on to all you guys on the mainland! ! !

I heard from Bruddah Steve today.... he's been down in Guyana for a few days... arrived safe and sound and he's already swamped with work... LOL! If you've know Steve as long as I have you'd know that if he could... he'd work 24 hours a day helping people!

I'm waiting to hear back from him on a few things then the Pass will be boxed up and shipped south... way South! LOL!

Okay, here is the situation!

First off. . . to all you guys who have been a part of this pass. . . THANK YOU! ! ! As I suspected, each one of you did OUTSTANDING! The pass went off without a hitch, and actually went to well, that it got to Wade quicker than I thought it would!

Furthermore, the plays that you guys did while being part of this pass were nothing short of FANTASTIC! ! ! Once again proving that the gang here at CP are second to none!

Wade is preparing to send me the pass this week. And I cannot wait! It is gonna be GREAT! ! !

Now. . . on to other things. Here shortly, we are gonna initiate the South America / North America pass. It is gonna go in reverse. In other words, it will start in South America, go on to Wade in Alohaville, and then. . . on to the mainland.

Look for information on this in the Open Pass section soon.

In the meantime, if you are interested in participating in this. . . just send me a PM and we will get this puppy started. I would love for this to end up at my house about the time I get home on August 11th. (Then I would have good cigars to celebrate my first GrandSon, who is scheduled to make his appearance on Sept. 15th)

I've packed up the cigars for Bruddah Steve! The cigars will be shipped without the tupper since it'll make it easier to send and cheaper too... LOL! The box will leave on Tuesday and will be headed to Guyana via USPS Int'l Priority Mail!
