NorCal HERF, Dinner and Wine Tour II

You know how cold it is up there, how firm could it be?

Between the wine, cigars and fine dining I think I could talk to NorCal forever.

In a dream I would go to this and fly everyone back to KY for a finish up bourbon tour.

Have fun you lucky lucky bastards.

Sorry guys, I've been stuck in SS.

Yes, the dates are firm. I'm updating the first post now with up to date information so get ready guys and book your rooms soon.

Here's hoping that is outside of the no fly window for Lesley. We will make reservations none the less. She will require her own bathroom......

-bump-

Still looking at going... recent events/trips out of state may put a damper on further travel, but still planning this as our get away this year.

DAMN IT!!! We are coming off a cruise that weekend.

Let me tell you guys this is well worth the trip. David does a great job with this herf. He does his homework and you will have a great time. Trust me if I was able I would be there. Have fun.

Well, doesn't look like this year is in the cards for us either. We are quite disappointed we won't be able to make it happen.

You do not know how I wish I could be there...Please have a blast for me!!

Melly :(

Looks like I will be there. However, since I live so close I will not be staying overnight.

Will there be an intinerary of the days events?

Wifey looked at Virtual Hotel Tour and noted the Antique shopping possibilities and she started picking out sticks for me to take.

I am hoping that Pete releases the new Blacks in time for this, as that is what I will bring if so.

Can't wait to herf with you guys for barring something taking place a little closer to home before then, this will be my first.

LOL ..... yeah, this is a perfect place for antique shopping. There's also a casino about 15 minutes away if anybody is interested.

I'll be posting an itinerary for the weekend this week. Friday is going to be a couple of special tours again followed by a nice dinner at Taste Restaurant in Plymouth, if I can get the details worked out. We had dinner at Taste recently and it was a beautiful meal. The wine list is very nice, and reasonable, but I'm sure we'll be bringing in more than a few bottles. I'm trying to work something out with the Chef so we'll see where this goes, it'll be a great way to kickoff a wonderful weekend.

For those of you thinking about attending this HERF I would encourage you to book your room soon. From I've heard from the Inn, the 3rd floor, the cheaper rooms with shared baths, are already filling up with another party. It's a wedding party, those from last year will remember the wedding party we met last year, we handed out cigars to the groom and his father.

For Fridays early arivers I'm setting up a couple of nice winery visits in Fair Play. Fair Play is about a 30 minute drive from Plymouth where we'll be driving back to for dinner. I'll need to start taking count of how many are interested, we'll need to get final commitments about a month before the event. More than likely deposits will need to be made.

Hotel booked, airline tickets bought... we be coming down!
