Non cuban close to a real cuban

hello folks,
iasked grateful1 this question and i thought i would post this question as well. i havent smoked a non cuban in several years and im curious which non cuban cigar do you think is closest to a real cuban cigar? curious as i would like to try one and see what i think. thanks for any help.

I find that Nicaraguan cigars tend to have the closet similarities to Cuban tobacco. If I had to mention a brand, it'd be Pepin.

Don't judge the first 1/4 - 1/2 inch. They tend to start out very peppery. But, then that profile Rod is talking about will show itself.

Thanks. I looked those up and the Don Pepin have some very nice cigars. I especially looked at the Doble Tres which looks delicious and its (5 1/2 X 44) so that seems like a great size to try.

I think, if you're seeing that cigar, that you're looking at Arturo Fuente Casa Cuba, not Don Pepin Garcia.

That peppery profile in Pepin cigars is what keeps me going back for more. I wish they still made the firecracker.

Speaking of Fuente, I think some of the Fuentes are pretty similar.

It might be because they are one of the few non-Habanos brands that I like but the Opus X and Sharks I have are close enough for me.

Try Pepin's Cuban Classic. Shockingly similar.
Also the My Father #1 is a fair match.
