Let me know how that works, please. I really want to add CarPlay to my truck; I've gotten spoiled by it in my wife's car.I got this guy for my son's Pathfinder I stole from him. Need some speakers next.View attachment 61231
I'm android, but I'm sure it will work similarly.Let me know how that works, please. I really want to add CarPlay to my truck; I've gotten spoiled by it in my wife's car.
Let me know how they go. I’m not far behind you.I'm officially crossing that last bridge I've been avoiding, and joining the Old Man Club. Take care of your hearing, kids. Once it's gone, it's gone...
Damn! THAT is beautiful!I hope this qualifies as my non cigar purchase.

Not even a Cowboys fan would wear that! For those that don’t know I am pretty big fan of “The King”, so I couldn’t resist this buckle from Lansky Bros. I had the belt already that I paired with it.

Welcome aboard! Err... Sucks about your hearing. Loud music and drilling rigs took care of mine, I can stand outside in the dead of winter and it sounds like swarms of cicadas in the trees. So far past tinnitus. But I didn't get hearing aids, I just got a louder stereo and pipe the TV through that!I'm officially crossing that last bridge I've been avoiding, and joining the Old Man Club. I’ve already wore it a few times. Not even a Cowboys fan would wear that!
Maybe!
The tinnitus is maddening -- I feel like a character that Edgar Allen Poe would have written about. I don't even attempt watching TV or anything with the family anymore; it's just too frustrating and, quite frankly, boring. The main driver, though, is my family pretty much demanding it at this point. I know that the clarity is gone permanently (it's like listening to the teacher from Peanuts when people talk to me), but if I get even a 50% increase/relief from these things, I'll consider it a win.Welcome aboard! Well, it's clear you have no shame!I’ve already wore it a few times.
The VA really pushed hearing aids on me but I hate them. They were just so unrealistic and didnt help where I needed the help. I felt bad because they are $5K but the VA wont take them back so if you want them, they are yours.I'm officially crossing that last bridge I've been avoiding, and joining the Old Man Club. Thanks, I appreciate the offer. We'll see how these work out. Technology has improved a lot since the end of The Great War when you mustered out and the Veteran's Administration got you your brass ear trumpets. The audiologist explained things about my (lack of) hearing and answered all of my questions sufficiently, and then some. He was very up front about what I should and should not expect as far as auditory improvement goes. I'm going through a government program for overseas retirees, and not the VA right now. I'd have to make several unfunded trips to Landstuhl hospital to go through the VA, and they said it would take months just to get me in. So, typical VA care... I'll pay a bit out of pocket (and maybe get some of it reimbursed, but not holding my breath with TriCare). They are costing me just shy of $1K, but that's still 60% less than I'd pay "on the market".The VA really pushed hearing aids on me but I hate them.
