Apparently nobody told Baker that in order to demand a trade, there has to be teams that would want to trade for you.
Don't say it.Apparently nobody told Baker that in order to demand a trade, there has to be teams that would want to trade for you.
I don't know what that means?Don't say it.
It’s the most guaranteed in NFL historyYa that’s different lol. Isn’t his contract bigger than Rodgers? I have a hard time deciphering these contracts.
Either way, that’s a lot of money to give plus whatever else for a guy who sat for a year. And surely there will be some kind of fallout from the lawsuit in the public eye, and maybe even with the nfl.

I heard someone saying they structured his contract like that so they can get out of it easy if they want.Watson will receive a five-year, fully guaranteed $230 million contract from the Browns, per Rapoport. As part of the deal, the QB will receive a $45 million signing bonus and his base salary for the 2022 season will be $1 million, Pelissero added.
Watson made it clear on numerous occasions that he wanted to play in a warm climate. Cleveland, by making his 2022 income be in the form of a signing bonus, made sure he wouldn't lose any money even if he doesn't play a single down due to suspension.I heard someone saying they structured his contract like that so they can get out of it easy if they want.
I think it says a lot that a Browns top executive was quoted as saying they "wanted an adult at QB".Apparently nobody told Baker that in order to demand a trade, there has to be teams that would want to trade for you.
When he pays off the 22 victims he'll have nothing, John
Since the NFL has racism on the brain, he may get off scott-free.I can’t imagine no one picking up mayfield. But whomever the suitor is, do they have to give up picks and take on the contract? Or can they sign him for whatever they want?
He might just be a high priced backup qb for the browns…
Is this the case? Fully guaranteed?Browns want a 1st round pick for Mayfield. The phone is not ringing. Plus teams dont want to deal with the baggage. Pittsburgh will pick him up for a cup of coffee. The Browns will eat the 18 Mil as its all guaranteed $$, if they cut or trade him. No team is willing to put up $$ to help the Browns out when they dont have to. I suppose he does have some value but not what they are asking. John
